The University of Agriculture Faisalabad on Wednesday opened the Food Festival at the Exhibition Centre and its adjacent ground that remained the centre of attraction for food lovers.

The University of Agriculture Faisalabad on Wednesday opened the food festival at the Exhibition Centre and its adjacent ground that remained the centre of attraction for food lovers. The food festival is arranged by National Institute of Food Sciences and Technology (NIFSAT) It was inaugurated by UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan along with Council for Cooperation and Cultural Affairs Embassy of France Martine Herlem Hamidi and Government College Women University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Naureen Aziz Qureshi. The salient feature of festival was self-made products of the students displayed at the centre. A large number of the industries displaying the products at stalls are also participating. Around 100 stalls are set up at the campus. The festival is aimed at polishing the skills of students regarding entrepreneurship so that they can play their effective role in the development of the society.
