Renowned Religious Scholar Syed Sarfraz A. Shah on Thursday said that solutions to all problems facing the Muslim Ummah reside in following the guidance from Quran and Sunnah. He addressed a public gathering at New Senate Hall, University of Agriculture Faisalabad arranged by Office of Senior Tutor with UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan in the Chair. He said that Islam gives us complete guidelines to spend life and to get Nijat at the Day of Judgment. He urged the people to follow in the footprint of the Last and Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) to emerge as an ideal nation and to find place in the Jannah (Heaven). He said that we had the developed the idol in our hearts as love for wealth, popularity, good position, designation etc dominates our personalities. He urged the people to purify their soul, develop humbleness, character-building and to illuminate their hearts with the love of Allah and the Holly Prophet Hazarat Muhammad (PBUH). He said that the biggest truth of the life is the death. We have to prepare our self for the life after death. He added that the country would become an ideal place with the injections of Islam. He also urged the people to develop the Takawal on Allah Subhanahotallah that will open up the path of successes. Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan said that there is need to change our attitudes keeping the guidance of Islam in view as guidance from Quran and Sunnah is the key of development. He said that the University is used to organize such programmes for the students so that they can become a good Muslim and play their pivotal role in the prosperity of the country. He said that character building is one of distinguish features of the UAF. Principal Officer Student Affairs Prof Dr Muhamamd Younus, Senior Tutor Prof Dr Aslam Pervez and Deputy Senior Tutor Prof Dr Tahir Siddiqi, other notable and tens of students attended the session.
