Speakers at the seminar called for honing the effective communication skills among the students in order to compete with rest of the world and convey your message effectively. The seminar titled “email and SMS writing skills” was arranged by Office of Senior Tutor. Dr Muhammad Asif from Riphah University, UAF Senior Tutor Prof Dr Aslam Pervez and UAF Director IT Farjeel Javed also gave the training to the participants. Lecturer Iqra Shagufta conducted the session. Dr Aslam Pervez said that the all-out efforts are being made to provide the state-of-the-art facilities to the students. He was of the view that effective communication was the tool to ensure the bright future. He said that the Office of Senior Tutor is running the various club aimed at polishing the communication and creative skills of the student. Dr Muhammad Asif gave the training about the CV writing and protocols of official emails. He said that proper communication enables one to achieve his desired goals. The students must have the command over effective communication skills that will help in getting job and to excel in practical life. Farjeel Javaid said that the world had become global village because of advancement in the IT. He stressd upon the student to polish the writing skills so that they can prove their mettle in their chosen filed.
