Orientation Seminar of BBA ( Agri Business) at the Institute of Business Management Sciences.

University of Agriculture Faisalabad Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan urged the students to develop creative and innovative approaches, entrepreneurial skills and effective communication to play their role in the development of the country. He was talking to the participants of orientation seminar of BBA ( Agri Business) at the Institute of Business Management Sciences. He said that the University was making all out efforts to produce the skilled manpower by offering 160 degree programmes with the special focus on rural and agricultural development. He said that UAF in collaboration with Institute of Business Administration Sukkur had launched joint four-year degree programme BBA (Agri Business) in order to strengthen inter-provincial harmony and to produce trained manpower equipped with entrepreneurial skills. He said that the University was also negotiating with the other leading business institutes including LUMS, and FC College Lahore in order to start similar programme. He also said that the dream of the becoming the developed nation can be fulfilled by refurbishing their professional skills of youth. He stressed upon the youth to think out of the box and develop innovative ideas to deal with the challenges.He said that the majority of our population is directly or indirectly linked to the agriculture sector that must be strengthened. He said that we are setting up entrepreneurship centre at the campus. IBMS Director Prof Dr Munir Ahmad said that all possible steps are being taken to enhance the business skills among the students as the country was blessed with the tremendous talents. He said that the UAF is the only institutions in the country which is ranked among the top 100 universities of the globe. Dr Mubashir Mehdi said that quality education will move the country to the new heights of progress.
