In the coming session of United Nations General Assembly starting from September 22, Student of University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) Rabia Faridi, will present a speech on women and education issues.

In the coming session of United Nations General Assembly starting from September 22, Student of University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) Rabia Faridi, will present a speech on women and education issues. She will also receive an award "2014 Youth Courage Award” at the event. It is second time in the history of the country that Pakistani student will speak in the elite forum of United Nations. She is also a global youth ambassador of education by UN. She is a student of M.Sc Hons (Plant Breeding and Genetics), UAF and member of Debating Club, Office of the Senior Tutor, UAF. Rabia is also a winner of Bargad Youth I-con Award 2014. Currently, she is working on bringing out-of-school and dropout towards education in the Faisalabad Division. A couple of months ago, Rabia Faridi had presented speech on Women Education at Convention Centre, Islamabad where UN Special Envoy for Global Education and former Britain Prime Minster Gordon Brown was the chief guest. Her speech was highly appreciated and admired by the participants.
