INDIGENOUS ON-CAMPUS TRAINING (IOT) UNDER MODERN UNIVERSITY GOVERNANCE PROGRAM Hostel Management (August 25th – 29th, 2014)
University of Agriculture, Faisalabad has kicked off five-day Indigenous On-campus Training arranged by Office of Research, Innovations and Commercialization (ORIC) in collaboration with Higher Education Commission. The inaugural session was chaired by Faculty of Agriculture Dean Prof Dr Muhammad Arshad. He said that honest to your duties, hardworking and good treatments with others are essential to emerge as a developed. He urged the participants to treat nicely at the public offices as it is their duty to serve the public. He said that God expects human beings not to be impatient. He said that that the good managements were imperative to help the teaching at the educational institutions. The UAF is making all-out efforts to provide the state-of-the-art facilities and quality education at par with the international standards. Prof Dr Asif Ali said that no wise Muslim would like to remain illiterate. The education and knowledge was a ladder to ascend on the heights of success and progress. He said that the event was meant to hone the administrative skills of UAF employees. Hall Warden Prof Dr Amjad Aulik urged the participants to hone their skills in the management and administration keeping in view teaching of Islam. He said that the UAF was taking all possible steps to ensure the modern facilities at the hostels. Institute of Agri Extension Rural Development Director Prof Dr Tanvir Ali said that skilled manpower was guarantee of the bright future. He urged the participants to sharpen their skills in this regard. Principal Students Affairs Prof Dr Muhammad Younus said that everyone is blessed with a talents. We have to explore it as a teacher. Director Information Technology Farjeel Javed said that in the modern era, Information and Community Technology had gained the immense importance in the modern era. We have to use such technology for the dissemination of information especially in the youth.
