Inauguration of The Agri Exhibition setup at University Exhibition Centre

Pakistan and China ties in education, trade and people to people contact will open up new chapter of progress, said Charge D’affairs (political counselor), Embassy of China Yao Wen. He along with University of Agriculture Faisalabad Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan inaugurated the agri exhibition setup at University Exhibition Centre. The Centre is funded by Endowment Fund. The China Pak Marketing Company in collaboration with the UAF is staging three-day Pakistan Agricultural Exhibition from May 28 to 30th. Yao Wensaid that the China is setting up Confucius Centre at the UAF that will help the students, industry and to other stakeholders to get benefit. He said that it is the third centre in Pakistan. The exhibition remained a center of attraction for locals who thronged it to have the delight of exhibition. It is housing the stalls of agri products, textile, food industry, jewelry and other stakeholders. Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad said according to German architects, the life of this newly established Expo Centre is 500 years. He the exhibition centre will strengthen the area of commercialization. The expo centre which is situated in the heart of the city of textile, Faisalabad, is comprised of 18 halls and provides around 40,000 square feet area for the commercialization of products. Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan said that research should not be piled up in the library. It must be transformed into goods and services. The exhibition centre will give a space to the scientists and industry to display their products.
