German Scientist Manfred Akstiuat International Seminar titled Dice Invent at UAF

More than 60 percent of Pakistan population consists of youth. The dream of the becoming the developed nation can be fulfilled by refurbishing their professional and innovative skills. This was stated by speakers addressing at the International Seminar titled Dice Invent jointly organized by University of Agriculture Faisalabad’s Office of Research, Innovation and Research and Institute of Business Management Sciences and Institute of Business Administration Karachi at Iqbal Auditorium. Addressing on the occasion, Faculty of Agriculture Dean/ Acting Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Arshad said that the country was blessed with the tremendous talent. It is imperative to ensure the quality education for the youth so that their innovative skills can be enhanced. He urged the students to utilize their maximum time in character building and profession knowledge acquiring activities as the time is the blessing. If it is wasted, it will spoil you. German Scientist Manfred Akstiuat said that Pakistan was having the talented youth. By giving them proper guideline, the development can be ensured. He said that the education was the key for the prosperity of any country. ORIC Director Prof Dr Rao Asif stressed the need to become the self employed with entrepreneurial skills. He said that the trained and skilled manpower will help the country move the new horizon of the development. He was of the view that producing the innovative skills among the students was essential. Dr Shahid Massod from IBA Karachi said that in Sindh, under the IBA Karachi, six month of business courses are helping the 1200 students to kick off their agri business. He said that self employment will also reduce the poverty. IBMS Director Prof Dr Munir Ahmad said that they were taking all possible steps to enhance the business skills among the students. Dr Fatima Mustafa also spoke.
