Religious Scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil addresses Students and Faculty Members of UAF

Religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil on Friday said that development and prosperity can be made by character building as per injections of Quran and Sunah and setting aside differences on the name of sect, race, politics and bilingual division etc. He addressed tens of hundreds of people at Iqbal Auditorium, University of Agriculture Faisalabad that was chaired by UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan. The programme was arranged by the Senior Tutor Office. He called for following true spirit of Islam for not only the fighting the challenges confronting the country but also end the restlessness at individual level. He said that the good character of the nation is the guarantee of the bright future. He said that the life is an examination and the real life starts after death. The real achievement is to get Nijat at the Day of Judgment. That life will last forever. He said that by adopting the real essence of Quran and following the sayings of Last and Final Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), the said objective can be achieved easily. He said we should keep out intention to spend the life in order to get heaven. He said that mothers and teachers set the guidelines of spending the life for the nations. The good mothers and teachers are imperative to build the characters. He urged the students to spend their some time for tableegh that will move their life to the new direction. Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan praised the contributions of Maulana Tariq Jamil being made for the character building of the nation as per directions of Islam. He urged the people to implement Islam in their lives in order to making development and to get success at the Day of Judgment. Student Affairs Principal Officers Prof Dr Muhammad Yonus and Senior Tutor Prof Dr Aslam Pervaiz were also present.
