Seminar on “The Role of Students in Improving Quality Education”

Quality education and increased literacy rate are prerequisite to face the challenges confronting the country and to compete with the rest of the world. This was stated by speakers while addressing the students at the seminar titled “the role of students in improving quality education” arranged by Quality Enhancement Cell, University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF). The session was chaired by UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan while QEC Director Prof Ahrar Ahmad Khan, Community College Principal Prof Dr Khalil-ur-Rehman, QEC Deputy Director Dr Shahbaz Ahmad, Research Officer Muhammad Salman and Research Officer Muzaffar Hussain Salik, and Zahir Ali also spoke on the occasion. Addressing on the occasion, the Vice Chancellor said that no nation can progress without the committed, trained and qualified manpower. The University is making all out efforts to ensure the quality education at the campus. Talking about the agriculture, he expressed his concern that per acre production of the agriculture is very low compared to the developed nation. It can be tackled by promotion of the latest agricultural practices. Prof Dr Ahrar said that youth are the future leader of the bright future. He urged them to get the knowledge with dedication so that they can shoulder their responsibilities. Prof Dr Khalil ur Rehman said that nation was facing various challenges. If we equip the youth with quality and professional education, the challenges facing the country can be overcome. Dr Shahbaz Ahmad said that the country was blessed with tremendous talents. By providing them platform, the country can move to the new horizon of the progress.
