UAF Exhibition Centre

The University of Agriculture Faisalabad has set up first-ever exhibition centre in the city in order to facilitate the researchers and industries to showcase their products. The Centre is established with the funding from Endowment Fund Secretariat (EFS) on the pattern of Lahore Exhibition Centre. It will start functioning from the next month. Situated in the heart of the city of textile, Faisalabad, the centre is comprised of 14 halls and provides 37,000 square feet covered area for the commercialization of products and providing knowledge to the industry and relative stakeholders. The centre has started working on commercial basis. In this regard, EFS-UAF has signed an agreement with China Pakistan Marketing Company for staging Pakistan Agri Expo 2014 here on May 28. The centre is aimed at promoting technology transfer to stakeholders through exhibits/showcases/models and to provide a platform for scientists/researchers and organizations. UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan while visiting the centre said that the research should not be piled up in the library. It must be transformed into goods and services. The exhibition centre will give a space to the scientists and industry to display their products.
