Concluding session of Leadership Capacity Building Workshop

The dream of becoming developed nation can be fulfilled by strengthening trained, skilled, committed to work and the honest manpower, said University of Agriculture Faisalabad Registrar Ch. Muhammad Hussain. He addressed the concluding session of Leadership Capacity Building Workshop held for the senior administration of the University at Syndicate Room. Treasure Umer Saeed Qadri and Controller of Examination Shafqat Iqbal Director Procurement Rana Muhammad Khalid, Director Planning and Development Irfan Abbas and other senior management was present on the occasion. The Registrar was of the view that the skilled manpower and quality education were imperative to lead the country to progress and prosperity. The steps will help face up challenges confronting the country. The workshop was aimed at enhance the capacity building of the management. He stressed upon the management to make all-out efforts in order to run the function of the university effectively. He said that the countries make development owing to their skilled, educated and dedicated manpower. He said that the country was blessed with talented people. The polishing of their skills would not only be proved fruitful for them but it would also open up new horizons of development for the country. He urged the participants to get the knowledge of latest administrative practices in order to shoulder their responsibilities effectively. He said that secret of prosperity is lying in the hardworking. The nations who have proved their mettle worked day and night to get the success. Talking about research, he said that England is contributing eight percent of the world research and producing 14 percent of the world most cited research paper. The registrar recently got the training from the United Kingdom arranged by Higher Education Commission and British Council in collaboration at Nottingham University .
