Family Fun Day and Women Sports Gala

The University of Agriculture is kicking off family Fun Day and Women Sports Gala on March 27. The Fun day organized by the Institute of Rural Home Economics and Office of Senior Tutor will bring the colorful events including stalls of the handmade products, jewelry, handicrafts, dresses sketches and portraits. A kid corner will also set up to provide the entertainment for the kids including games, swings etc. The events will be inaugurated by UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan at 10:00 am. In the sports gala, women cycling race will be held at 11:00 am, in which 50 girls students will take part. It is aimed at promoting the cycling among women in order to overcome their dependency for transportation. After that the indoor and outdoor games will be held. It sports gala is organized by the Agrarian Society. MPs Surrya Naseem and Najma Afzal will grace the occasion as the guests of the honour.
