The Pakistan Council for Science and Technology (PCST) has ranked the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) as top university of Pakistan in the Degree Awarding Institutions for the Year 2013

The Pakistan Council for Science and Technology (PCST) has ranked the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) as top university of Pakistan in the Degree Awarding Institutions for the Year 2013. The University received a highest score of 779.17 among all universities. Whereas, Islamia University of Bahawalpur and University of the Punjab, Lahore stood second and third with score 477.98 and 273.03 respectively. According to the National Taiwan University Global Ranking, the UAF has also become ever-first Pakistan’s university which has been ranked in top 100 best universities of the globe and top 20 in Asia pacific in the subject of Agricultural Sciences,. It has got 35th position in specialized higher education institutions worldwide as per UI GreenMetric World University Ranking. According to the global QS ranking, the UAF is standing in the elite club of globe universities with 139th position worldwide in Agriculture and Forestry. The UAF has also become the pride of the nation as it clinched best Science and Technology Institution Award 2012 announced by the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) among the 57 Islamic countries.
