Omani Assistant Grand Mufti Kahlan Al Kharusi delivered a special lecture on Islamic Work Ethics

Omani Assistant Grand Mufti Kahlan Al Kharusi on Monday said that Islam teaches us to work with commitment, passion and devotion that are vital to emerge a progressed country. He presented a special lecture on Islamic Work Ethics arranged by the Office of Senior Tutor and Public Relations and Publication Department, University of Agriculture Faisalabad. The session was chaired by UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan while MNA Muhammmad Afzal, Omani Director of Islamic Fatwa Office Shiekh Aflan Bin Ahmad Khalid and Prof Dr Muhammad Yonus also spoke on the occasion. He said that if we apply the golden lessons of Islam in our lives, we can weed out all challenges including financial crunch. He was of the view that Islam teaches us to adopt the tolerance in our lives. The solutions of the all problems confronting the humanity are in the injections of Islam and Sunnah. The Muslim needs to understand the Islam with letter and spirit. By applying the Islam in the lives, the Muslims saw the golden age from eighth century to fourteenth century. He said that the religion guides us to get the knowledge, produce the skills and credibility, avoidance of the unethical methods of wealth accumulations and cooperation. These are the task to be worked out in individuals to make development. The personality of the last and final messenger Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) is the role model. We have to follow him footprint. It is the must to illuminate the hearts of the people with the love of Allah and His Last and Final Prophet. Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan said that the adoption of Islamic work ethics was essential. He stressed upon the people to follow the work ethics in the light of Islam in order to move the country towards prosperity and progress. He said that Islam gives us guidance in all sphere of life. He said that that under the leadership of Sultan of Oman, the school enrollment there had reached to 99 percent that was a hallmark step. He said that because of the educational friendly policy of Omani leadership, the education sector is flourishing rapidly. Rana Afzal said that the West had adopted the principals of Islam that why they were progressing rapidly. He called for adopting unity, faith and discipline in the lives in order to face the challenges of the 21st Century. He said that we need to understand the message of Quran and Sunnah so that we can make the development rapidly.
