Secretary Agriculture Dr. Ijaz Munir Praises UAF Administration and Academia

The Secretary, Government of the Punjab, Agriculture Department Dr. Ijaz Munir in his letter to UAF Vice Chancellor expressed his views on the recent NTU ranking. He says “it is indeed a matter of great pleasure that University of Agriculture Faisalabad has surpassed the landmark status of inclusion amongst the top 100 universities of the world and being the only University of Pakistan, this achievement is extremely admirable and prestigious”. He said that attainment of this honor with an accelerated pace of amelioration in ranking (of 60 position within one year) was a candid depiction of hard work by the academia of the University of Agriculture. The curriculum-cum-research activities, he said, an adaptation of innovative approach, contribution in Government’s efforts to meet the ever-growing challenges of food security, energy crises and keeping pace with the global community are being addressed with a considerable salience by the institution. Agriculture Department, Government of the Punjab values unflinching resolution and untiring efforts of faculty and students of the University of Agriculture. Further, he appreciated the contribution in this phenomenon through enlightened leadership and anticipates further high achievements.
