Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan, presents souvenir to Young Patriotic Activist Mr. Abdullah Gull

Speakers at A Seminar on “Youm-e-Tabeer” urged the need for collective efforts for bringing prosperity through utilizing science & Technology as a tool of development in the Country. The seminar was arranged by The Agrarian Society in collaboration with Team Takmeel-e-Pakistan held at New Senate Hall of the University on Monday Evening. Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan, Vice Chancellor UAF presided over the Seminar while Young Patriotic Icon Mr. Abdullah Gull and Scholar Rasheed Hijazi were the Guest of Honour. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Amjad, Hall Warden, Anwar-ul-Haq, Haider Mairaj and Atif Ali the president Agrarian Society spoke on the occasion. Dr. Iqrar said that 28th of May 1998 would be remembered as Symbol of undefeatable Pakistan when our nation showed solidarity for the purpose of defense of homeland. He was of the view that now we have to translate this deterrence into economic revolution by revamping our strategies for the economic and agricultural revolution. He added that Pakistani Nation have great potential to create miracles so there is no reason for hopelessness among various classes. Mr. Abdullah Gull while delivering his optimistic address said that Pakistan has been blessed with unexplored bulk of natural resources and hard working human resource which is capable to do unbelievable performances to bring the country at top level on the Globe. He added that it is only Country which has 68.4% vibrant youth under 23 years age which can generate momentum for the development and rebuilding process in the country. Earlier Rasheed Hijazi stressed the youth to achieve their past glory and prove them real leaders of Global revolution of development. He urged them to come forward and join hands for defeating unemployment and hunger from the society. Other speakers also deliver their speeches in the favour of Atomic deterrence and defenders of Pakistan Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan and political leadership of the Country. Chief Guest later on visited the defense Exhibition outside the Central Library and inspected various stalls.
