Glimpses of 40th annual function of Scout Group, University of Agriculture Faisalabad

40th Annual function of Scout Group, University of Agriculture Faisalabad was held in which scout exhibited their skills to cope with untoward situation and set up pictorial and gadget work. The group also brought a cultural show in evening at Iqbal Auditorium to enthrall the audience by various skits depicting the social issues; promotion of brotherhood and peace. It also gave a message to the youth to work for the welfare of the society. UAF Acting Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqbal Zafar, Pakistan Boy Scout Association National Secretary Muhammad Tariq Qureshi, Principal Officer Students Affairs Prof Dr Muhammad Younis, Senior Tutor Prof Dr Aslam Pervez, Director Students Affairs Dr Hafeez Sadaqt, hall warden Prof Dr Muhammad Amjad, Director Sports Muhammad Rafique, Scout Group President Dr Ahmad Sattar, and other notables were present on the occasion. Prof Dr Iqbal Zafar said that Pakistan is blessed with the talent which can move the country to the new horizon of progress by sharpening their skills. He said that such activities promote the brotherhood and peace in the society. Muhammad Tariq Qureshi lauded the skills and efforts of the Agrivarsity Scout Group being taken for the promotion of the brotherhood in the society. Dr Muhammad Younis said that Islam gives us lessons to help others and work for the humanity. Prof Dr Aslam Pervez said that all students should get the training of first aid so that they can help other in case of emergency. Prof Dr Muhammad Amjad stressed the need to expedite the efforts to promote brotherhood in the society. He said that by equipping the people with the skills to combat difficult situation, we can make the progress with a large pace. Dr Hafeez Sadaqt urged the people to work for the welfare of the people in order to excel in the world. Mr Naveed Ur Rehman was announced best of campfire and Hammad Nazir won the title of best performance in management.
