Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan while addresses the participants of an Annual Function of UAF International Club

Owing to progressive and aggressive internationalization agenda and rising global ranking of UAF, this year out of 16 International students, two students each from US, Canada got admission in UAF. Said UAF VC Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan while addressing the participants of an Annual Function of UAF International Club at Old Senate Hall. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan said for the last some years, UAF has upgraded the syllabus and made tremendous progress in curriculum development, making it relevant to market and international needs that attract the foreign students getting admission. Dr. Khan revealed that offering new BS programs in various disciplines is on the cards. He hoped that gulf between West and Fareast countries would be narrowed shortly adding that future is with Asia that would emerge as new economic giant of the world due to its enormous human and natural resources. He was of the view that due to various attractions at UAF, now the university has been made hub for the Afghani, and African students. Principal Officer Students’ Affairs Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younas, Foreign Students’ Advisor Prof. Dr. Tahir Siddiqui, representative of Islamic Medical Welfare Association, Afghanistan, and new office bearers of International Club also spoke on the occasion.
