Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan, Vice Chancellor, D.G. NIFSAT Prof. Dr. Faqir Muhammad Anjum and all faculty members and students are offering pray at the earth breaking ceremony of FTTC at NIFSAT UAF

National Institute of Food Science & Technology, (NIFSAT) University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) is going to establish Food Technology Transfer Centre (FTTC) for providing training facilities to the students, experts and workers of food industry in the field of dairy, baking, fats & oils and other products by state of the art modern technology.This was stated by Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan Vice Chancellor UAF while addressing the Earth Breaking Ceremony of FTTC on Thursday as a chief guest. Dr. Khan said that food industry as well as food business is being expanded day by day due to globalization and it is the need of hour to provide skills to the food industry people in order to harmonize them with professional capacity of International Standards.He added that in this regard FTTC will provide them opportunity to equip themselves with new innovative approaches. Prof. Dr. Faqir Muhammad Anjum, D.G NIFSAT earlier said that FTTC is being constructed with the financial assistance of Higher Education Commission (HEC) and latest Lab equipments and food machinery is being imported from France. He hoped that after the completion of FTTC University would be able to provide trained human resource to local and global market. All Deans, Directors, Faculty members and students attend the ceremony.
