A Dengue Awareness Road Show by Dengue Awareness Committee

A Dengue Awareness Road Show by Dengue Awareness Committee constituted by Principal Punjab Medical College (PMC) in collaboration with City Traffic Police and Rescue 1122 was organized at Katachry Bazar to distribute pamphlets/handbills among the shopkeepers and general public aiming at make them vigilant regarding the potential growth spot of the dengue mosquitoes. During the event, shopkeepers and general public was asked various questions regarding dengue mosquitoes and were enlightened with various tips to how they can minimize the breeding of dengue mosquito in their surroundings. Convener of the Dengue Awareness Committee Prof Dr. M. Jalal Arif, Senior Professor of PMC Prof. Dr. Khurram Sohial Raja, UAF PRO Syed Qamar Bukhari, PPO Muhammad Hanif Chaudhry, Traffic Warden (Education Corps) Tastgir Malik, and high ups of Rescue 11222 went shop to shop to aware the masses regarding Dengue. They distributed pamphlets and handbills. The shopkeepers and general public described the campaign a healthy gesture of the organizers.
