Food Arrangment Exhibition

Institute of Rural Home Economics, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad organized food arrangement and Continental Dishes exhibition at Dining Hall of the Institute here on Thursday. The purpose of this exhibition was to build capacity among students of MSc (Hons) Home Economics (Food & Nutrition) keeping in view enabling them at par with rest of Home Economics Institution’s human resource 27th students from 6th Semester took part in the exhibition. Surriya Naseem (Ex-Parliamentarian) was the guest of honour on this occasion. She hailed the skill of students regarding preparation of high standard food and drinks. Surriya Naseem along with Director General national Institute of Food Science & Technology, (NIFSAT) inspected various stalls and tasted the food stuff and declared it at par with food stuff of five star hotels. Miss Sadaf Shakoor, Supervisor of exhibition told the guests that all students visited all major food chains, five star hotels and restaurants in order to enhance their skills to prepare nutritious food, services expertise, display art and cooking methods. She told that a Mega Event of Display Food Items, Hi Tea and Continental Dishes would be organized after Ramadan.
