Lecture of Syed Bilal Kuttab on "Inter Sects Harmony in Islam"

It is the need of the hour for the Muslim Ummah to iron out their difference and follow the injections of Islam to promote the religious harmony and fight challenges. This was stated by religious scholar Syed Bilal Kuttab at a special lecture on Inter Sects Harmony in Islam arranged by Qirat and Naat Club (Seraat Chair), Senior Tutor Office, University of Agriculture Faisalabad at Old Senate Hall. UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan was the chief guest on the occasion. Syed Bilal urged the students to study Quran and Hadith by heart in order to develop their understandings with the religion so that they can excel in the world. He said “The secret of development and solution to all our problems is lying in Islam. By following it we can ride out all our problems.” He also stressed the need to avoid hurling mud at each other. The reading of the Islam by your own eyes was the best way to develop the understanding with the religion. He called for following the footprints of Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) and Sahaba Karam to get guideline in daily affairs as well as every stage of life. He said that it is the clear that the prejudice was the main hurdle to the unity among the Muslim. He said that it was prerequisite to get the lessons from Quran and implement them in the life that would provide peace and bring prosperity in the country. UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan said that more seminars on Islam should be conducted in order to educate the students regarding their basic and Islamic system of life. He said that the seminar also provided the audience to interact with scholars and get the solution of their confusion of their minds. He thanked the audience for attending the seminar.
