Speakers at a seminar stressed upon the students to develop the characteristics of Iqbal ka Shaheen and create their own world by hardworking, honesty and education.

They also urged them to devote their lives as per golden principles of Islam to regain Muslims due respect in the world. The seminar in connection with birth anniversary of Allama Iqbal was arranged by Laboratory Boys Higher Secondary School at Seminar Room. It was presided over by Deputy Registrar Public Relations and Publications UAF Syed Qamar-ud-Din Bukahri while Laboratory School Principal Saif Ullah Saif, Senior Teachers Anwar Ali, Maqbool Rehmani and Javeria Baig also spoke on the occasion. Syed Qamar Bukhari said that as per Iqbal, if man conquered himself, he can lead the world to his own. He termed Khudi as know yourself, sense of integrity, purification of thoughts and being aware of self-power to achieve anything. He said that Iqbal ka Shaheen is the person with high values, who can perform in every situation and for him the sky is the limit. Saif Ullah Saif said that inspiring poetry and philosophy stirred Muslims to wake up to reality of era and forged ahead a destiny of proving themselves in the world. He said that Iqbal was deeply concerned with the youth. He said that if youngsters had focused their real destiny, they could lead the Muslims out of the danger of destruction and open up new era of development and prosperity. Maqbool Rehmani said that when Iqbal was nominated for the honor of Sir, he told then rulers that he would not accept it unless his teacher be given an award because whatever he is, it is thanks to his teachers. He stressed upon the students to read thoroughly Iqbal poetry which will ignite a new energy in them and they would be able to fight the challenges of the era effectively. The students at the ceremony also presented the national songs, and Kalam-e-Iqbal at the event.
