University of Agriculture Faisalabad Vice Chancellor Dr Zafar Iqbal Randhawa has urged the teaching faculty to make all possible efforts for refurbishing the skills of the students and to build ideal characters in the light of Quran and Sunnah.

He addressed the teaching faculty of UAF at Iqbal Auditorium. Registrar Muhammad Hussain presented the opening remarks. Addressing the faculty, the Vice Chancellor said that tangible research and knowledge based economy will open up new era of the development and prosperity in the country. He said that the UAF was working actively on the issues of faculty and students that will be resolved as soon as possible. He added the process of granting more powers to deans had begun so that the issue of faculty and teachers would be addressed effectively. He also directed to take all possible measure to address students’ problems. He said that the online portal is being developed under which faculty members, teachers and other stakeholders can register their complaints. The faculty and students are encouraged to discuss their problems so that solid solutions could be ensured. He said that due to the increasing enrollment and enhancing teacher-students ratio, the quality of the education was being compromised. He added that there is a need to curtail that trend. He said that the university was ensuring peaceful environment and state-of-the-art infrastructural, academic, and research facilities to the students that will enable them to play pivotal role for the development and prosperity of the country. He said that the the university was taking tangible measures for the welfare and bright future of the students.
