University of Agriculture Faisalabad Vice Chancellor Dr Zafar Iqbal Randhawa on Friday said the university was ensuring peaceful environment and state-of-the-art infrastructural, academic, and research facilities to the students that will enable them to play pivotal role for the development and prosperity of the country.

Chairing a meeting of administrative and students’ affairs staff at Syndicate Hall, he directed the administrative and teaching staff to leave no stone unturned to address the issues of the students. The UAF is working actively round the clock on the issues of students to facilitate them, he said, adding that the doors of Vice Chancellor Office are opened all the time for the students. They are encouraged to discuss their problems so that solid solutions could be ensured. He said that the university had mapped out a comprehensive plan to make students a part of advisory mechanism of the varsity that will enable them to play their role in decision-making process. Talking about other initiatives, he disclosed that e-complaint portal was being developed in which students, staff and other stakeholders can register their complaints so that prompt action could be taken to resolve the issues. He said that there was no differences between the University of Agriculture Faisalabad’s administration and students, and the UAF administration is committed to provide all facilities to students’ community in order to ensure peaceful environment and for the welfare and bright future of the students. He said that some miscreants were using their nefarious designs to spread unrest in the campus. He said that such elements will be allowed to disturb peaceful academic environment.
