The University of Agriculture Faisalabad Academic Council meeting has approved new degree programmes of PhD Computer Sciences and PhD Agri Business.

The University of Agriculture Faisalabad Academic Council meeting has approved new degree programmes of PhD Computer Sciences and PhD Agri Business. The meeting was presided over by UAF Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Iqbal Zafar whereas Registrar Muhammad Hussain presented the agenda before the House. The meeting also approved elevation of Department of Bio Chemistry as the Institute of Bio Chemical Sciences. The meeting also gave the nod to upgrade the Department of Agronomy as Institute of Agronomy. The meeting also okayed establishment of Department of Epidemiology and Public Health. The House also decided to hold the entry test for MSC(H),MS and MPhil Program. In this regard, the first entrance test will be held on July 2 and second test will be carried out on July 27. New specialization in MS Finance will be kicked off in the Institute of Business Administration. Dr Muhammad Iqbal Zafar urged the meeting to take all possible measures to ensure quality education and to conduct the problem solving research for the welfare of the society. He added that the trained manpower was the guarantee of a bright future and the university was making all possible measures for the betterment in the education system and to make it at par with modern world. He added that we have to come up with the innovative ideas and think out of the box.
