niversity of Agriculture Faisalabad will have National Incubation Center in order to commercialize the technology developed by students and agricultural experts at the national level and promote entrepreneurship.

This was stated by University of Agriculture Faisalabad Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan while presiding over a meeting of Deans and Directors Committee. He said that under the Ministry of IT, National Incubation Centers have been set up in Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Islamabad. Now its another branch will be established at UAF. He urged the agricultural scientists to expand their research and development activities so that the products developed on the basis of research could be brought to the doorsteps of the farmers. He said that more than 40 percent of the population was suffering from malnutrition for which a healthy lifestyle and awareness of better nutrition among the people was need of the hour. He said that a strategy was being mapped out to modernize the livestock and poultry farms of the university. In addition, a report on the different types of plants in the university will be published. He said that all-out efforts were being made for the innovations, teaching and research activities keeping in view of present challenges . He said that the system of best teacher award would also be introduced among faculties of the university.
