The University of Agriculture Faisalabad is opening its physical classrooms for all degree programs as a part of hybrid learning (physical and online ) system keeping the SOPs in view amid the situation of Covid 19.

The classes will be divided into many shifts and physical classroom to be opened for around a month for each student. It was decided at the Dean Committee that was chaired by by UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan at New Senate Hall. The Vice Chancellor said that the university was adopting as per guidance of Higher Education in which 30 percent of total enrollments will remain at the campus. Dr Iqrar Ahmad directed the meeting to ensure the academic activities keeping the SOP of Covid in view. He said that now, we have to live with the Covid condition. We are getting benefit from the online scheme of studies but it is not a complete alternative of physical classroom. He said all possible tools were being ensured in the online education for the students. He said that it is our responsibly to play our due role in the development and progress of the country. He said that the UAF will enhance its outreach activities to address the problems of farming community at their doorstep and increase per acre yield. He said that UAF was making the system the flexible to attain the international funding and improve the educational quality at par with world standards. He viewed that the majority of our population is associated with the sector. The poverty and hunger alleviation is directly linked with the agriculture sector. He said that the nexus of agriculture experts, researchers, farmers and industry prerequisite to improve the situation at the national level.
