The University of Agriculture Faisalabad Deans-Directors Committee meeting was held at Syndicate Room to review the admissions and other issues.

It was presided over by UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Asif Tanveer. Whereas, Registrar/ Treasurer Umar Saeed presented the agenda. Deans Prof Dr Aslam Khan, Prof Dr Masood Sadiq Butt, Prof Dr Muhammad Asgher, Prof Dr Sarfraz Hassan, Dr Muhammad Arsahd, Dr Muhammad Aslam, Controller Prof Dr Waseem Akram, Directors Prof Dr Shahbaz Talib, Prof Dr Qamar Bilal, Prof Dr Ejaz Ahmad, Prof Dr Muhammad Yaseen, Prof Dr Javed Akhtar, Muhammad Wasi and other notables attended the meeting. Prof Dr Asif Tanveer said that the admission process was being carried out with transparency. He added that the UAF was making all-out efforts to ensure the quality education amid the situation of Covid 19. The UAF is adopting the hybrid teaching and learning system. He said that in the first phase, UAF has opened its classrooms for the third semester and onwards of the students of MPhil, MS and MSc( H), and PhDs. He said that decisions regarding opening of physical opening of classes for the rest of the classes would be taken later depending upon the pandemic situation. He directed the UAF community to ensure the social distance at the classrooms, hostels and eateries . He appreciated the UAF community for taking the lead in commencing online classes from March. He added that the disinfect process was carried out in classrooms, hotels, and other areas to fight with the pandemic. Registrar Umar Saeed said that Umer Saeed said all tools including the Zooms, LMS system and other social media were used to continue the journey of academic and other research activities. He said that the UAF was ensuring all resources in a better way. Prof Dr Shahbaz Talib told the meeting that UAF admissions applications had increased manifold that speaks the volume of trust of the society on UAF quality education
