University of Agriculture Faisalabad Vice Chancellor Dr Zafar Iqbal Randhawa has stressed upon the need to develop culture of patience, tolerance, self-accountability, discipline, faculty-student friendly policies.

He addressed non-teaching staff at Iqbal Auditorium, University of Agriculture Faisalabad. He said that the country was achieved after great sacrifices. He said that the largest migration was witnessed in 1947. And our elders faced tremendous losses of lives, finances and others. He added it is the need of hour to bring the reforms in our management system. He said that Islam provides the guidelines in every sphere of the life. He said that in our society, the rights of the people were being denied. He said that the practice of rights snubbing is common in our society which is against the golden principles of Islam. He stressed upon the need to know yourself, sense of integrity, purification of thoughts and being aware of self-power to achieve anything. He urged them to play their due role in the development and prosperity of the country. He said that every faculty members must avail recreational leave that will enhance their efficiency. He said the university was framing a comprehensive plan to indulge students in the policy making of students related issues and hostels management. He said that students should be encouraged to show their mettle of their talents which Allah Subhanotallah has blessed them. He said teaching quality compromised due to increased number of students. He added that the campus enrolment capacity, which was 8000 students, has touched to 28,000. The situation is deteriorating educational quality. He said that door of Vice Chancellor office are opened for the students and faculty round the clock and they can free to address their problems. He urged the participants to follow in the footprints of the Last and Final Messenger (Peace Be Upon Him) that guides us in the every sphere and circumstances of life. He said that the university had taken up all outstanding issues of teaching and non-teaching staff and students for the betterment and to address them at earliest. Registrar Muhammad Hussain and Deputy Registrar Qamar-ud-Din Bukahri also spoke.
