University of Agriculture Faisalabad Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Ashraf has directed the department concerned to renovate admin block and main corridor and convert it as eye-catching and state-of-the-art building.

He chaired the Campus committee meeting at the Syndicate Room. He said that the steps were being taken to provide the modern facilities to the students and faculty and to redress their grievances at war-footing. He said the UAF, then Punjab Agricultural College and Research Institute, was established in 1906. It is the first agri institute in the subcontinent and has given birth to many agricultural institutions. He said that we have to restore its glory. He said that from the next academic year, work is being carried out to introduce more demand-driven courses for producing skilled manpower. He said that remaining development work at Depalpur Campus will be carried from the university resources. He said we have to promote the culture of self-accountability, forgiveness, honesty, truth, brotherhood, and do best for humanity as per guidance from Quran and Uswa-e-Hasana of the Last and Final Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). He said that life of Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) is the practical example of Holy Quran and give us complete guideline in every sphere.
