It is the need of the hour to sharpen the skills of students by adopting modern tools of learning for making them skilled and effective member of the society, said University of Agriculture Faisalabad Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Ashraf.

Addressing the meeting of executive committee of UAF run Laboratory High School and College System, he said that modern teaching methods and digital technique will be ensured in the UAF run Laboratory School for illuminating the hearts of the students with the power of knowledge and skills. He said that every year, the students from the Laboratory School were getting top positions in the board examinations which is an honor for the university. He called for adopting modern trends in the education system in order to compete with the rest of the world. He said that to strengthen financial system of the school, bedside external audit, the alumni association will be made more vibrant. He said that the county was achieved after great sacrifices. Now, it is our duty to work with dedication, honestly and devotion that will open up new avenue of the progress and prosperity. He said that the skilled manpower will end poverty and to move the country towards uplift. He said that we have to inculcate the Islamic values in our youth for a better future.
