The University of Agriculture Faisalabad will submit concept paper before the Higher Education Commission about seed production unit, value addition, reverse engineering of machinery for small landholders, silage, and medicinal plants

This was stated by UAF Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Ashraf while addressing the review committee of projects at Syndicate Room. He said that it is the need of the hour to make the effective measures that will not only decrease the poverty but also reduce the import bill. He said that agriculture sector was facing numerous problems including low yield, high cost of production, low profit, climate changes, and value addition etc. Talking about ongoing development projects, he directed the meeting to ensure foolproof mechanism for the smooth running of the projects for the benefit of the campus community and others. He also directed to ensure the solar plants installations at the building of Information and Communication Technology Center within one month. He said that vacant vacancies in the power house be filled in order to provide latest mechanism of electricity to the campus community.
