The Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization, University of Agriculture Faisalabad and Treasurer Office UAF arranged an awareness seminar on tax at New Senate Hall in which Deputy Commissioner Punjab Revenue Authority Ahmad Ahsan and Tax Consultant Lahore Mohsin Baig informed the audience about the importance of tax.

PRA DC Ahmad Ahsan said that event is aimed at creating awareness about the benefit of tax and tax collection mechanism in the general public and to dispel the misconceptions in this regards. He said that it is our duty to pay the tax for the development and prosperity of the country. He added that tax system in the country was at par with the world and the steps are afoot to make it more easier for the public. Treasurer Tariq Saeed said that the seminar will bring tangible results in respect to create the awareness about the tax. He said that tax collection was the prerequisite for the development of any nation. He said that his office has adopted latest techniques to run functions in smooth manners. Director Procurement Umar Saeed talked about the importance of tax.
