Dec 15: The odorous of intolerance, abhorrence and hatred attitude can be removed with the promotion of aroma of love, brotherhood, and patience among the different segments of the society that will spread the peace and prosperity, said that University of Agriculture Faisalabad Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan The University of Agriculture Faisalabad arranged Chrysanthemum and Autumn Flower at its Floriculture Research Area . The show was inaugurated by UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan along with Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Qamar uz Zaman The flower show also remained the centre for attraction for the flower lovers who thronged the varsity to have the delight of autumn flowers of . The flowers blossoming with all beautiful shades mesmerized the nature lovers. The dozens of different flower arrangements displaying colors of creative ideas are set up by university students. He visited the stalls and was flanked by Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria Irena Gancheva, Dean Sciences Ashghar Bajwa, Director Horticulture Dr Jafar Jaskani, Treasurer Umar Saeed, Principal Officer PRP Dr Jalal Arif, Dr Aman Ullah Malik, Dr Iftikhar Ahmad, Dr Amjad Aulakh, Rana Aslam Khan, Dr Adnan Younis, Dr Ahmad Sattar, Dr Nadeem Abbas, Dr Muhammad Tayyib, Dr Abid Ali, Dr Ahmad, Dr Mohsir, Bashir, Rana Shahzad, Dr Nadeem Sindhu, Dr Muhammad Azam, and others. Talking to the participants, UAF Vice Chancellor said that the flowers give us a message of love and peace in the society. He said we have to spread the fragrance of brotherhood, respect and work collectively for the uplift of our country. He said that the country was achieved after great sacrifices. Now it is our duty to work for the development and prosperity so that the different challenges could be addressed effectively. He said that the University was used to hold such events that provide the opportunity to showcase their idea of creativity in flower arrangements. Dr Qamar-uz-Zaman said there is a need to beautify the characters with brotherhood and love. He said that flower exhibition was a step towards spreading such messages. Dr Jaffar Jaskani said that that said that country can earn heavy foreign exchange with the floriculture industry as we have a lot of potential that must be tapped. Dr Iftikahr Ahmad said that in the exhibition, more than 100 species of Chrysanthemum are put on display while students also installed the stalls of their business plan based on flowers products. Moreover, Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria Irena Gancheva while meeting with Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan appreciated the role of the UAF in the agriculture and educational sector. She called for the further strengthening the agriculture and educational ties between their agricultural university and UAF in order to learn from each other experiences. She said that Pakistan was producing the one of the best mangoes of the world with excellent aroma and taste. She said that they would hold meetings with UAF to explore the area of collaboration and work together in the agriculture sector. She said that their country population was less than Faisalabad. She said that climate changes and environmental degradation are posing a serious threats. Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan said that joint efforts would pave a way to learn from each other experiences. He said that a joint degree should be initiated between the UAF and Republic of Bulgaria agriculture university.
