Seminar on economic recovery plan of Pakistan

FAISALABAD March 3: Amid the situation when the country was in the grip of severe economic crisis coupled with growing poverty, the entrepreneurs need to be polished with excellent marketing and commotion skills. It will help get new businesses at national and international level and fetch foreign exchange by opening up new market and job opportunities. This was stated by Muhammad Siddique, Pakistani settled in US renowned businessman, during a key speaker at a seminar on economic recovery plan of Pakistan held at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad. UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan presided over the seminar that was jointly organized by Institute of Business Management Sciences, Institute of Agriculture and Resource Economics; and Department of Public Relations and Publications UAF . Dr Khalid Mushtaq and Dr Abdul Ghafoor also spoke on the occasion. Muhammad Siddique said that although nature has blessed Pakistani people with excellent talents and creativity, they could not benefit from the full potential of international business opportunities due to lack of marketing and communication skills. He said that 85 percent of your business growth after getting professional education depended on marketing and communication. He said that punctuality and adherence to the agreed contract with the customer is indispensable for entrepreneurs . UAF Vice Chancellor Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan said that the Agricultural University is taking all possible measures to improve the communication skills of the students so that they can face the challenges of the future. He also said to address the agricultural challenges, tangible research work was being carried out. He said to university was actively working on new varieties of wheat and other commodities including soybean. He said that to inculcate excellent moral values in the students, the system of tutorial groups was strengthened to develop personality as well as to improve their communication skills.
