University of Agriculture Faisalabad Vice Chancellor Dr Zafar Iqbal Randhawa has called for taking all-out individual and collective efforts at all levels to bring betterment in people’s lives and work for prosperity of the country as envisaged by Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Iqbal.

He addressed a ceremony of Hall Warden office and hostel beatification contest held in connection with Pakistan Day. He asked the youth to follow the vision of Allama Iqbal and Quaid Azam to serve the nation and the country in a better way. He said that the country was achieved after the great sacrifice. He said that now it is our duty to move the country towards new horizon of progress. The history of the Sub-Continent was changed with the Pakistan Resolution on March 23, 1940 when our great leader Quaid Muhammad Ali Jinnah demanded a separate country based on the concept of the Muslim nationhood. He added that we will take all possible effort for the solidarity and progress of the Pakistan. He saluted the sacrifices of Pakistan Army, Air Force and Navy for safeguarding the country and to defeat the nefarious design of enemies. Chief Hall Warden Dr Muhammad Amjad Aulak said: Allah Almighty has blessed our beloved homeland with all natural resources, and now it a collective responsibility to utilise it judiciously for bringing about national uplift. He said "Because of the numerous sacrifices of the forefathers, we are enjoying the fruit of freedom. Former Dean Dr Muhammad Ashafaq urged the students to study with dedication, and motivation and to play their pivotal role for the development of the country.
