Three-day buffalo milk and beauty competition staged at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad has concluded in which buffalo of Nazir Ahmad Gujar got the first position with 48.75 liter of milk. Whereas the buffalo of Rana Abdul Sattar bagged the second position with 48 liter of milk and buffalo of Nazim Iqbal stood third with 43 liter.

More than 50 buffaloes across the provinces took part. The event was jointly arranged by UAF, Livestock and Dairy Development Department Punjab, and Buffaloes Breeding Association. Provincial Minister for Management and Professional Development Husnian Jahania Gardezi, UAF Vice Chancellor Dr Zafar Iqbal Randhawa, Gomal University Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Sarrwar, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Dr Talat Pasha, Buffaloes Breeding Association President Saeed Hasssan, UAF Deans Dr Zafar Iqbal Qureshi, Director Farms Dr Shahid Afzaal Gill, Progressive Farmer Basharat Jaspal, MP Latif Nazar, Shafiq Gujjar, and other notables distributed the prizes among the farmers. Dr Khalid Shouq, Ch Atta Gujjar, Engineer Sami Ullah along with others participated. In the Bull beauty contest, Farheem Awan bull bagged the first position whereas bulls of Basharat Jaspal and DFizan Ashraf got the second and third position respectively. In the buffalo beauty, buffalo of Ali Akbar got the first position, buffaloes of Muhammad Asif and Ali Akbar stood the second and third respectively.
