The University of Agriculture Faisalabad in collaboration with Interloop opened four-day sports gala in which different teams across the district are taking part.

The gala was inaugurated by UAF Vice Chancellor Dr Zafar Iqbal Randhawa while Chairman Sports Board Dr Muhammad Ashfaq, Controller Examination Dr Abdul Wahid, Assistant Director Student Affairs Dr Shahbaz Talib Sahi, Sport Farooq Ahmad and the officials from Interloop including Col (r) Ijaz Nasir and Zeeshan Ahmad also spoke on the occasion.The Vice Chancellor said that sports activities are declining in the society due to changing life style. He said that sports were equally important not only for keeping oneself physical fit but also for a healthy mind. He said that UAF was making all-out efforts to promote sport actives in the students. He added that the stat-of-the-art sports facilities were being provided to the students. Muhammad Ashfaq said that four sports including cricket, volley ball, hockey and foot ball matches are arranged in the gala.
