Like other parts of the country, the University of Agriculture Faisalabad on Friday observed Kashmir hour to show solidarity with the Kashmiri people and give a message that the whole Pakistani nation stands with them and condemn Indian terrorism and oppression in Indian held Kashmir.

The rally was led by UAF Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Ashraf in which a large number of faculty members and teachers took part. Addressing on the occasion, Dr Muhammad Ashraf said that our support with Kashmir will continue till the resolutions of issue. He condemned Indian move to revoke 370 article that give Occupied Kashmir an autonomous status and slammed Indian fascist oppression, the inhumane 25-day curfew, the daily injuring and killing of Kashmiri civilians, including women & children. He stressed upon the United Nations and international organizations to play their role to stop Indian terrorism in Kashmir. He said that Modi government was spreading one of worst terrorism in the IHK. He said that the sons of Kashmir were brutally tortured and killed.He said that the issue of Kashmiris be settled as soon as possible with the right of self-determination. He said that Kashmir is the integral part of Pakistan and majority of population are Muslims. He said we stand with our brothers and sisters in Kashmir and would not allow anyone to suppress their rights. Dr Tahir Siddique said our nation stands resolutely behind Kahsmiri and no one will be allowed to sabotage their rights of self-determination. Syed Qamar Bukhari said that Indian move to change the demography of IHK was a war crime under Geneva Convention.
