University of Agriculture Faisalabad Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Ashraf said that researchers should come up with tangible work to address the problem of community whereas university was making headway to find its space in the top 500 universities of the globe in the world acclaimed rankings.

He chaired the meeting of Graduate Studies Research Board at Syndicate Room. He said that no nation can make the process without ensuring quality education. He said that university was taking all possible measurers to ensure quality education, research work and to make admission process user friendly at par with international standards. He said that Decorate of Graduate Studies will be shifted on one window operation in line with modern trends so to make system more efficient and to facilitate the students. He said that in each department, a digital and model classroom will be set up as a step towards provision of state-of-the-art facilities. Director Graduate Studies Dr Muhammad Riaz has said that as many as 17,000 students applied to the various postgraduate programs. After the scrutiny, 13000 students’ applications were accepted. He said that all possible steps were being taken to provide modern facilities for the students. The final thesis submission has been extended to October 18.
