Graduates of higher learning institutes need to refresh their knowledge, skills and experience after every two years thereby to update their professional pursuits. Emphasized by University of Agriculture, Faisalabad Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ashraf (HI, SI).

He was addressing the participants and graduates of the seventh graduation ceremony of Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants (PIPFA) here on Saturday afternoon at CAS auditorium of the varsity. While congratulating the outgoing graduates of the institute, Prof. Dr. Ashraf urged the graduates to bring positive change in their domain adding that eminent financial managers are playing their pivotal role in making the organizations well disciplined and prosper. He told that from the university end, he used to visit planning commission and meeting with financial managers of the ministries wherein he always witnessed the financial manager playing key role in their respective office. He was of the view that good financial managers help the organizations to bring reforms in the system in a bid to make it more efficient and transparent. He said that the whole economy of the country revolves around agriculture and he was firm believer of the fact that unless we do not introduce tangible reforms in agriculture, the dream of rural development and farmers’ prosperity would not translated into reality “agriculture alone has the potential to reboot the economy” he added. President PIPFA, Muhammad Ali Lateef describing the graduate ceremony an Eid day for graduates and urged the graduates work hard and always show their thirst for knowledge and skill seeking that, he assured, would open new paradigms of success in their lives. Vice President Mr. Usman Ahsan acknowledged the advice of the chief guest regarding knowledge seeking and refreshing their professional pursuits after every two years. He said his institute would always welcome them whenever they want to refresh their knowledge be with the help of organizing a short training workshop or hands on training. Additional Director PIPFA Mr. Naeem Akhtar, Mr. Umar Saeed, Ahmad Jabbar, Ms Kanwal and Muhammad Ali were also among the speakers. Later the chief guest Dr. Muhammad Ashraf along with the PIPFA hierarchy distributed the shields, certificates and degrees among the outgoing graduates
