The building was inaugurated by UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan who was flanked by Prof Dr Tahir Saddique, Dr Farah Riaz, Deans Dr Muhammad Javed, Dr Allah Buskh and Dr Maood Sadiq Butt, Treasurer Umer Saeed, Dr Jalal Arif, Dr Zafar Iqbal Qureshi and other notables. The building was completed with the cost of Rs 14.1 million. While inaugurating, UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad said that the University was making all possible measures to ensure the facilities to the campus community. `He said that the University had set up a country largest hostel for the 1000 girl students with the funding of Punjab Government. He said that Science Block facility has been added to the system. He said that the Exhibition Center has also established at the campus that will provide an opportunity to the industry to exhibit their products. He said that UAF was mandated for the agriculture and rural development and the problems of the farming community are being addressed in term of research, trained manpower and policy recommendations.
