In this regard, a seminar, speeches and milinagma were arranged at the New Senate Hall. The university also took out a rally to mark solidarity Day with Kashmiris. The day dawned with special prayers for the martyrs of Kashmir; victory of the freedom struggle and expression of solidarity with Kashmiri. UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan said independence is the basic right of human being. He said Kashmiri are deprived of their right to self-determination. He called for solving longstanding Kashmir dispute in light of the UN resolutions and pinned the hope that scarifies of Kashmir will bring tangible results. He urged the international community to take notice of human rights violations against Kashmiris in IHK. He said we have to strengthen our country through hardworking, dedication, education, and economic development.
