The University of Agriculture Faisalabad organized scientific model competition at the gallery of Iqbal Auditorium as part of women day in order to promote the entrepreneurship among the women.

The University of Agriculture Faisalabad organized scientific model competition at the gallery of Iqbal Auditorium as part of women day in order to promote the entrepreneurship among the women. The judges of the contest were Dr. Nancy J Allen from UC Davis, Dr. Bushra Sadia, Chair Biotechnology USPCAS-AFS and Dr. Haq Nawaz Bhatti, Chairman Department of Chemistry (UAF) and Dr. Noreen Ran , Department of Zoology (UAF). The organizer of contest was Dr. Sadia Ilyas Gender Specialist, USPCAS-AFS. Total eleven teams participated in the event with New innovative themes and titles. The first position was bagged by a model on Hydro metallurgical Plant the model was prepared by Huma Akram, Shafaq Masud, Numra Shabbir and Asma Jabeen. The Second position was bagged by a model on Waste Water Treatment Plant and the model was prepared by Mariam Tariq, Rafia Rehman, Rukhsar Anum and Shafaq Nisar. The 3rd position was bagged by a model on Nano Fertilizer, the model was prepared by Rafia Rehman, Namra Naeem, Tabinda Boota, Aqsa Anjum and Fiza Khalid. A large number of students and faculty members attended the Prize distribution ceremony.
