The University of Agriculture Faisalabad on Friday opened three-day agriculture exhibition meant for promoting latest agriculture practices to promote the sector.

The University of Agriculture Faisalabad on Friday opened three-day agriculture exhibition meant for promoting latest agriculture practices to promote the sector. The expo was inaugurated by Nigerian Acting High Commissioner Aminu Abdulkadir and UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar A Khan. Nigerian Commissioner of Agriculture Nasarawa State Muhammad J Zakari, Nasarawa State University Keffi Vice Chancellor Prof Muhammad Akanu Mainoma, Dean Faculty of Agriculture Dr I.M Haruna, Dr MM Ari and other notables also attend the inaugural ceremony. The exhibition remained a center of attraction for the agriculture lovers who came here to have the delight of rural culture and to know about the modern trend in the agriculture. UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan said that the exhibition was aimed at prmoting the modern agro trends that will not only the productivity but also help alleviate the poverty. He said that the country was blessed with the tremendous resources. There is a need to tap the potential.
