The 5th Lyallpur Art and Literature Festival held at University of Agriculture Faisalabad concluded on Friday in which students from 20 universities from the four corners of the country took part and exhibited their God-given abilities before the large gathering.

The 5th Lyallpur Art and Literature Festival held at University of Agriculture Faisalabad concluded on Friday in which students from 20 universities from the four corners of the country took part and exhibited their God-given abilities before the large gathering. It was arranged by Office of Senior Tutor Office, UAF. As per results, in the sufi song contest, Syeda Maham from University of Sindh Jamshoro bagged first position while Farrukh Javed form University of Sargodha got second position and Ghufran Chishti from Punjab University stood third. In the parliamentary debating championship, first position was clinched by Government College University Lahore’s Muhammad Sharif and Abdullah Cheema; whereas Jinnah Sindh Medical University’s Insha and Umme Farwa got the second position. In the English poem, Mariam from Ghazi Khan Medical College bagged the first position whereas Fahad Hussain and Ayesha Yaseen got the second and third positions respectively. In the English poem, Maria Nadeem from UET Lahore secured the first position while Nashmia from GCU Lahore got the second position. In the Punjabi Ghazal, Mubashir Saeed from Punjab University Lahore got the first position while Saeed Mumtaz from UET Lahore and Tuseef from GCU Lahore stood second and third respectively. In the quiz contest, University College Lahore got the first position while Institute of Business Management Lahore got the second and University of Gujrat secured the third position. In the Urdu nazam, Sohaib from Punjab University bagged the first position while Kafeel Rana from GCU Lahore and Hafiza Nayyeb from UET Lahore stood the second and third respectively. In Urdu Gahzal, Kashif from UET Lahore clinched the first position while Meesam Abbas from PU Lahore and Fahad from GCUL secured the second and third positions. In Urdu Afsana, University of Sardodha’s Hafiz Muhamamd bagged the first position, Danish Shafiq got the second and Umair from Govt Post Graduate College got the second and third positions respectively. In Urdu Essay, Mashood from SIMS Lahore got the first whereas Fahad from UET Lahore and Mubeen from University of Sindh Jamshoro got the second and third positions respectively. In the web development and designing, University of Sindh Jamshoro’s team headed by Junaid Malik clinched the first position while Muahmmad Nawaz Shareef Agriculture University Multan’s team headed by Aziz-ur-Rehman got the second position whereas University of Central Punjab Faisalabad team headed by Ahmad Waleed got the third position.
