The US Consul General Lahore, Yuriy Fedkiw Visited university of Agriculture Faisalabad on Thursday May 04, 2017. He chaired a session to discuss the role of gender at University of Agriculture Faisalabad at Syndicate Room of the Varsity. Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan (S.I), Vice Chancellor apprised him regarding gender issues and steps taken by the University Administration in this regard. U.S. Consul General stressed upon the need for more effective Gender role to promote education and research. Dr. Nancy J. Allen DCOP USPCAS-AFS UCDAVIS, Dr. Sadiya Ilyas Assistant Prof. Department of Chemistry and Gender Specialist USPCAS-AFS, Dr. Farah Riaz Assistant Prof. & Incharge Institute of Home Sciences, Dr. Benish Serwar Lecturer Institute of Home Sciences Dr. Bushra Sultana Assistant Prof. Biochemistry, Dr. Ameer Bibi Assistant Prof. PBG, Dr. Lubna Anjum Assistant Prof. Irrigation & Drainage Department, Dr. Rizwana Maqbool Assistant Prof. PBG, Dr. Romana Anjum Assistant Prof. Plant Pathology briefed about various aspects of gender issues. The CG also visited newly constructed USPCAS-AFS Building and inspected Lecture theater, Library and Labs. He also met with a group of female cyclist of UAF.
