University of Agriculture Faisalabad spokesman Prof Dr Jalal Arif has said that UAF student Kashan Gilani, who was rusticated from the varsity over defaming the educational institution, on Wednesday appealed to Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan to review the decision.

University of Agriculture Faisalabad spokesman Prof Dr Jalal Arif has said that UAF student Kashan Gilani, who was rusticated from the varsity over defaming the educational institution, on Wednesday appealed to Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan to review the decision. The Vice Chancellor has constituted a committee to review the matter and to submit the report within 24 hours. He said that the committee had called the student and his parents Wednesday afternoon and the student has made an unconditional excuse. He said that as many as 24000 students were studying at the campus and university is responsible for their education and trainings. He said that vice Chancellor was very sympathetic about students’ matters. He will make the decision on compassionate grounds.
